On Thursday 11 May, 17 Year 8
students attended La Trobe University Shepparton to go on a tour of the campus
and play a graduate game. This was part of our School Partnership Program with
the University, which aims to link all year levels to promote tertiary pathways
(not just La Trobe).
The students had a great time
enjoying the library, learning spaces and medical practice room.
Congratulations to Marney McIntyre for winning the Graduate Game and graduating
University at just Year 8 level!! It was a lot of fun and an excellent
opportunity for our students; thanks to our Careers Coordinator Ruth O'Bree for
organising it.
For being the Graduate Game winner Marney has earned Waratah 50 House Tribe BART points. The new House Tribe points tally is:
