School Representation

On Tuesday 25th July, students from all four Alliance schools came together at McGuire College to discuss the Shepparton Education Plan. Nine students from Mooroopna from Years 9 - 12 were part of this Student Voice Working Party, in which they discussed changes they would like to see in their schools. They also talked about positive things happening at their schools and how these successes could be built upon. The Mooroopna students were amazing and offered some incredible insight to the group and I was very proud of them. Of the 36 students present, Jono Clarke (Year 11) was one of three students selected to be part of another upcoming forum on Shepparton education.

For his selection to be a part of this important upcoming forum and stepping up to represent our community Jono has earned House Tribe points for Waratah. Participating in opportunities like this is an important way of demonstrating our BART values both within our school and to the broader community. This type of participation marks the actions of a Cumbungi Champion. Thank you for your efforts Jono.

The new points tally is:
