OUT THERE!

THE AUSTRALIAN BALLET IN SCHOOLS

Fourteen of our Year Nine and Ten MSC Students volunteered to take part in the fantastic Out There - Australian Ballet in Schools dance program opportunity. The four BTA schools, over a two-week period, have ten hours of lessons each from the Australian Ballet. At the end of the two weeks, the students from the BTA schools come together for a public showcase. This was an inspiring event. To see the progression of the students made the teachers involved so proud of them – as were the invited guests, parents and other spectators. The comradery and positive interactions between students from all the schools was wonderful to see. Congratulations to Alana Semple (Waratah), Alyce Osmond (Waratah), Seriema Vakasiskakala (Heath), Dwayne Mansfield (Waratah), Mitchell Ramage (Heath), Tarsha Brown (Waratah), Jasmyn Gladman (Heath), Jessica Eldred (Boronia), Maykeesha Minniecon (Banksia), Claudia McKenzie (Banksia), Ashley Gall (Boronia), Stephanie Stevenson (Heath), Zoe Smith (Banksia) and Shaniqua Lee (Boronia).

Each of these students has earned House Tribe points for their excellence in participation in this program.
