On Tuesday 6th June, a paper plane throwing competition was held in the Library. There were two prizes up for grabs, one for the furthest flying plane, and one for the most accurate. The week before, the movie ‘Paper Planes’ was shown in the Library over two lunchtimes, to give the students some tips on how to make the best paper plane. On the big day, students from different year levels came in to try their luck. Kyle Mildred, from year 7, won the prize for the furthest flying plane. Bailey Davis, a year 10 student, won the most accurate throw, where he had to land his plane closest to a target. Not only did Kyle and Bailey win $5 canteen vouchers, they also earned points for their House Tribes - Kyle for Banksia and Bailey for Boronia. Well done to all the students that participated in the competition, and congratulations to Kyle and Bailey.
